The extensive grazing herd of Galloway cattle in Silver Cove are surviving the cold snap well. Taking regular cover under the trees and with their thick coats they are outside right the way through winter. Visiting the herd is an opportunity to watch their behaviour including unusually here a calf eating conifer needles and branches.
