Monitoring is a key aspect of Wild Ennerdale and often involves computers. Here information is being downloaded from  water measuring equipment o the River Ehen. AS the river is a Special Area f Conservation we are taking baseline readings of the water chemistry before starting to harvest the wind blow at Crag. WE will then compare readings every two days with the pre harvesting readings to ensure tat the harvesting work does not alter the water chemistry.
