The Wild Ennerdale Partnership is keen to work with schools and higher education facilities to provide opportunities for people to learn more about the processes that operate in the valley. From farming to forestry to tourism. Here a student from Leeds University watches on as Galloway cattle receive some hay to boost their food intake during this cold spring. Leeds University students studying Geography visited the valley for a couple of days as part of a project combining GIS mapping , geography and wild land management. Hopefully we will publish some of there best work through this website latter in the year. Wild Ennerdale has an ongoing partnership with Leeds University Geography Department through Geography Lecturer and Wild Land Network founding member Steve Carver.
